Jaw models that can be attached as they are

Jaw models with magnet plates can be attached onto NISSIM Type 2 Articulator as they are.

Features of NISSIM Type 2

1) Models can be attached without an articulator.
Jaw is pictured at 50mm open position.

2) Can simulate actual human patient’s open position. Jaw is pictured at 22mm open position. (appx. 2 fingers) (Please use the optional Intermediate Locking Device)

How to adjust occlusion on NISSIM Type 2

1

1) Loosen the hand screw on the top and the knob on the back of the articulator.

2) Set the occlusion by adjusting the lower jaws until it occludes with the upper jaw.

3) Maintain the occlusion by holding the jaws together and tighten the hand screw and knob.

4) Check to make sure the articulator is in occlusion.
